This is an English translation of our German Datenschutzerklärung for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the German version is legally binding.

To use VitalPerform, you create an account. We process the master and access data you provide (e.g. name, email) as well as the content you enter in the app, in order to provide you with the app's features (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
At your request, VitalPerform processes health and vital data (e.g. sleep, HRV, stress, nutrition, training, if applicable from connected wearables such as Oura). These are special categories of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR. This processing is carried out solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
If you connect a wearable or a third-party service, the data collected there is transmitted to VitalPerform at your initiative. Currently used: Oura (Oura Health Oy, Finland). The connection is made only at your explicit instigation and can be disconnected at any time.
The application is operated by external service providers; technically necessary server/log data is processed in doing so (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Services used: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database & authentication) and IONOS (email delivery). For contact requests and reviews, we additionally use our central, also self-operated system infrastructure at system.ebsportundtechnik.de, which runs on our own IONOS server (Germany); structured data (e.g. requests, CRM) is stored in a database with Supabase (EU region Frankfurt). Data processing agreements are in place with these service providers.
If you work with a coach, you share content with them specifically. You decide what is shared, and you can revoke permissions at any time.
When you contact us by email, we process your information solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
This website loads the fonts Montserrat and Inter via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). In doing so, your IP address may be transmitted to Google.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Consent given can be withdrawn at any time.
We store your data for as long as your account exists or as long as it is necessary for the purposes described. After deleting your account, your data will be deleted, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
